Thank you Syona for putting together this website, it was very informative and well written. Your work in raising awareness is so important.I was touched by your journey, and your advice on what not to do when communicating when stutterer was so very helpful.


One suggestion- add list of famous people (beside you ;)) who stutter?

Thank you so much for creating this really thoughtful website and for sharing your experience with stuttering. We have a family member who has had speech disfluencies, and reading through your site gives me hope that our community will become more understanding and compassionate with people who experience stuttering. Some details that I think are really insightful include how you explained stuttering as being physically uncomfortable, as well as mentally and emotionally difficult. I don’t think most people know about the tension that builds in the jaw, neck, and throat. So glad you’re highlighting that. Very, very well done, Syona! The time you invested and the attention to detail is evident across the entire site.
